For patients who can feel the difference between a denture that fits and one that doesn't.

A Smile You Can Feel The Difference In.

We've invested in the technology to complement our denturists' expertise, from designing and printing your smile to milling and finishing it. It all happens in our own Hood River lab, under the same skilled hands that care for you.

What This Means for You

A Smile Built for Your Features

Your mouth gets scanned digitally. Then your smile is digitally designed, around your features, your bite, and your vision of the perfect smile. Individually designed to meet your needs.

A Fit That Sits Right the First Time

Digital scanning captures the shape of your mouth without the distortion of traditional impressions. The denture or restoration is milled (or printed) to a precision that hand-cast acrylic can't match. The fit you get on day one is the fit a hand-made denture may take weeks of adjustments to find.

Faster Turnaround

No outside lab queue or shipping delays. We design and build your case here, on our timeline, not someone else's. Standard dentures and snap-on restorations are done end-to-end in our building.

Same-Day Adjustments

Call us when your denture needs adjusting. We do almost all adjustments chairside during your appointment.

Inside Our Lab

Here's the technology behind our process, organized by the stage of your case where it supports our
work. The equipment is important, but it's our denturists' experience, judgment, and craftsmanship that bring everything together.
This technology complements our expertise, giving us greater precision, consistency, and control throughout every case.

1 SCANNING YOUR MOUTH

2 × Medit i700 Intraoral Scanners

A handheld digital scanner that captures the inside of your mouth in seconds. We use these scanners for almost every case and take traditional impressions on occasion to capture the most accurate information possible.

Why it matters:

Traditional impressions are typically poured in dental stone, which can introduce distortion or inaccuracies. Digital scanning gives us a precise, detailed reference of your mouth often without the discomfort of traditional impression material. It's faster, cleaner, and more comfortable, with far less gagging; so we can begin designing your denture from a more accurate starting point.

2 Designing Your Smile

3 × Medit T710 Lab Scanners

Scanners for the lab side of the workflow. They capture models, bite registrations, and existing dentures with the same precision used on your mouth.

Why it matters:

A precise digital scan gives us a more accurate foundation for every step that follows. We can account for the unique contours of your gums and oral anatomy as we design your denture, resulting in a more precise fit and a more natural, comfortable result.

Exocad CAD Design Software

The design software our lab team uses to digitally build and refine your smile. Shade, size, shape, tooth arrangement, and gum line are carefully considered and precisely dialed in during the digital design process.

Why it matters:

Your smile is designed with intention, not simply assembled. Digital design allows us to preview your result, refine the details, and explore different variations before your final denture is made. This gives us greater control over the outcome and allows your smile to be personalized to you.

3 Printing and Trying It On

3 × Asiga Max 3D Printers

Dental-grade 3D printers used for try-in models, surgical guides for the dentist placing the implants, and provisional (temporary) appliances.

Why it matters:

You can see and try a physical version of your smile before the final denture is made. If you want to refine the shape, arrangement, or details, we can make adjustments and print another version. Our in-house printing capacity helps shorten turnaround times, keeping your case moving efficiently.

4 Milling Your Final Teeth

1 × Ivoclar PM7 Milling Machine

A precision milling machine that cuts your final denture or restoration from
a single block of dental-grade material. Used end-to-end for standard
dentures and snap-on restorations.

Why it matters:

Milled denture material has fewer voids and inconsistencies than hand-cast acrylic. A stronger, more durable denture, and a more comfortable feel against your gums.

1 × Redon GTR Dental Milling Machine

A second milling machine that works alongside the PM7, expanding our in-
house milling capacity and helping us maintain a more efficient workflow.

Why it matters:

Having two milling systems gives our team greater flexibility and helps reduce turnaround time, keeping your case moving efficiently from one stage to the next.

What "CAD/CAM" Means + the Materials We Use

CAD/CAM stands for computer-aided design and manufacturing. It's the digital workflow that runs every case in our lab: a scan captures your mouth, software designs the denture or restoration on-screen, and a milling machine cuts the final piece from a solid block of material. Fewer steps, fewer places for error.

Zirconia

A ceramic material, same family as kitchen ceramics, but engineered for strength. The strongest material available for certain types of implant-supported dentures. Resistant to chipping, staining, and cracking under bite force.

Milled denture acrylic

A dental-grade plastic that's cut from a solid block rather than poured into a mold. Stronger, more uniform, and longer-lasting than traditional hand-cast acrylic. Used for standard dentures, snap-on dentures, and the same-day teeth worn during healing.

An Investment in Technology, an Investment in You.

We didn't have to build our own lab. We chose to because we believe investing in our technology and our in-house capabilities is ultimately an investment in you.

By keeping the design, craftsmanship, and technology under one roof, we give our team greater control over your case and greater ability to personalize your smile. It allows us to refine details, maintain consistency, and keep your treatment moving efficiently. Every piece of technology we've invested in has the same purpose: to give you a better experience and help us create the smile you deserve.

If you’ve ever worn a denture that didn’t fit properly, you know how much the right fit can matter.
